Places to go in Mandaluyong City

Mandaluyong City is one of the business centers located in Metro Manila. Beside for businesses, the city is also a center of malls and hotels. Many visit the city not only for business but also for shopping and leisure.

One of the active places for business here is the Ortigas Center. Most of the known companies are here like Asian development bank, Banco De Oro, San Miguel Corporation and the laboratory of Unilab.

For shopping and hotels, here’s the list;

1. SM Megamall – a large shopping mall in Ortigas Center operated by SM Prime Holdings. It is the one of the largest shopping malls in the Philippines. Inside the mall are the variety stores, local and international. It also has a Fashion Center called Mega Fashion Hall, where can be found some of the international clothing stores such as Uniqlo and H&M.

2. Shangri-La Plaza Mall – a luxury shopping mall located beside the SM Mega Mall. It is the only shopping mall operated by Kuok Group of Companies, the owner of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. The mall has several international stores like Gucci, Burberry, Hugo Boss and many more. There are many bars and restaurants in the mall.

3. Forum Robinsons – located within the Cybergate. The mall highlights are the gadgets and other technology products and inventions. Not too far from the shopping mall is the Go Hotels Mandaluyong, an affordable hotel under the Robinson Land Corporation.

4. St. Francis Square Mall - one of the popular shopping centers in Mandaluyong City, near to the SM Megamall. It is also known for selling affordable items.
